  • Fantastic and Ideal facilities

Our whanau have just returned yesterday from Rarotonga and we booked at these apartments and were so pleased we did. From the time we booked and dealt with Brent, he was so easy to deal with and incredibly helpful. The accommodation was absolutely perfect and all our requirements were meant and will definitely be recommending these apartments to friends, family and work colleagues.

  • Great spot for families

“We had 7 nights in 3 bedroom apartment and was perfect for our family. Well equipped, clean, quiet and spacious. Brent and Eve were lovely hosts. Our kids loved the pool and wandering down to the beach for a snorkel. Location was handy with Beluga Cafe just a few minutes walk down road, Castaways and Waterline restaurants a short distance along the beach.”

  • Lovely location. Good value.

We stayed here 14 nights. This was our 4th trip to Rarotonga and best value accom. we have had. Quiet clean accommodation in a small complex with lovely swimming pool, and beach just a short stroll away. On the sunset side of island and a short walk along beach to several restaurants. Bus stops out front. Plenty of room to park your rental car. Owners were friendly and helpful. Their two staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Would Definitely Stay Again

I stayed here for a week and was happy happy with my choice. Very clean and comfortable apartment with pretty much so everything I needed, it even had a blender which isn't very common.

 FAQs

  • The Cook Islands enjoy a pleasantly warm and sunny climate all year round. June to August are the cooler months, whilst November to March marks the warmer season, with occasional tropical showers expected. It is also known as cyclone season – something to be aware of although not necessarily a deterrent as they are not a regular occurrence.

The drier months, from April to November, have an average of about 26°C, whilst the warmer, more humid and damp season runs from December to March. During this season the temperature ranges between 22°C (min) and 30°C (max).

  • The main Road around Rarotonga is about 32km’s. There is a Public bus service that runs hourly in a clockwise and an anti-clockwise direction.

We recommend guests rent transport because it provides you with the flexibility to travel when you want to and to go off the beaten track and discover “inland Rarotonga” as well.

Riding an automatic scooter is something many visitors haven’t had the chance to do before and Rarotonga is a perfect place to let the cool breeze blow. Helmets are now required for visitors and locals on Rarotonga and are readily available from the hire companies.

Whether hiring a scooter or a car there can be a shortage, particularly in the busy seasons and school holidays so pre-booking is best at these times to avoid disappointment. Standard & electric bicycles are also an option and are available for hire from several outlets across the Island.

  • The currency of the Cook Islands is the New Zealand Dollar. New Zealand notes and coins are accepted as well as Cook Islands minted coins. While credit cards are widely accepted, there are a small number of shops/bars/restaurants that will accept only cash, and this also applies to most market vendors and street stalls.

  • We provide beach towels, Reef shoes and snorkelling gear for your use while you are staying with us so don't bother bringing them. We will hopefully provide the sunshine too!
